Essie Borrowed & Blue swatch

So I've been absent from this blog for about three weeks...yet again! I've been delinquent...I started a new job and have been running around crazy busy for the past three weeks...however I plan to return to posting once a week as I did before.  This is a lovely powder blue from Essie's 2011 Wedding Collection...it's a lovely pastel light blue color.  This is 2 coats.  As usual, this is part of my blue nail polish obssession, but to be honest, it only looks good on a tanned hand (as I have now!).

Essie Mojito Madness swatch

While I love most nail polish colors, green is not so easy for me to wear--but this is one of the few greens that actually suits me.  This is Essie Mojito Madness from the current 2012 Summer Collection.  This is a grass green and is a fantastic color and formula--2 coats...perfect for spring and summer in my opinion!

Essie Smooth Sailing swatch

Essie Smooth Sailing is from Essie's Summer Collection 2011.  Personally, I think this color looks fantastic on my toes and not so much on my hands, but toe swatches are harder to do so decided to put it on my handnails to show you.  I love the formula and it is a sea blue with silver and pink shimmer.  This is 2 coats.  It is quite similar to Lapis of Luxury (see my other post with swatches) but is a shade darker.  

Essie French Affair swatch

I haven't blogged in 3 weeks! This is partly due to the fact that I was running around crazy busy, but also due to the fact that one of my best friends came and we went on a short vacation!  Anyway, below is Essie's French Affair, part of the Spring 2011 Collection.  This is a pastel (hard to apply!) and is a blue-toned pink. It is slightly pinker than OPI's Mod About You (I will swatch that soon as well!) and leans towards lilac but it is definitely a pink.  I finally have a tan and this color only looks good against olive/tan skin tones!!
